Nursery Ministry

Safety: Each classroom is divided into age-appropriate groupings. Special care and attention has been given to the selection of toys and equipment and to the policies and procedures that have been written. The directors and service coordinators are trained in First Aid and CPR.

Care: Close attention is given to the ratio of children to adult workers. Workers are cross-trained to be able to move to other rooms when there is a case of numerical
imbalance. Low ratios provide more personalized, loving care for each child.

Nurture: Each child is taught the Word of God in each service. Our newborn to one-year-old curriculum emphasizes the importance of speaking the Word of God over every child in the classroom. The two-year-old curriculum focuses upon age-appropriate methods and lessons where the children learn and apply the Word of God.

Preschool Ministry

Creativity: We offer numerous ways for the children to be creative and express themselves through crafts, praise and worship, and biblical teaching. Children are challenged to learn their memory verses at the same time their hands are performing tasks. We encourage the children to make the right decisions and to be creative in their thinking.

Obedience: We have classroom rules that are easy to follow and easy to obey. Our main focus is not on their behavior as much as it is for the children to be obedient to God’s word, their parents, their teachers, and other leaders. Our true hope is to teach the children to be on the obedience side of God because this is where the blessings in life are for them!

Interaction: Children at this age have not yet reached their full understanding of interaction with other children. We teach them principles on sharing, taking turns, asking for help, and above all things, interaction with the Holy Spirit. Our teachers have a watchful eye on the children who feel left out, or to the visitors who are in unfamiliar surroundings. All activities are based on biblical influence with a twist of fun!

Kidz Town (ages 6 - 3rd Grade)

Teach: In every service, children are taught the Word of God in a manner that is easily understood and can be immediately applied. Children are then challenged to put into practice what they have heard.

Train: Kids Town offers different areas for your child’s ministry involvement. Applications are made available to children who want to participate. Each ministry has different job responsibilities which are designed to the individual child’s spiritual and natural gifting.

Praise: Every service is filled with the expectation of an encounter with God. This time is an opportunity for children to express themselves through song and dance. The Bible declares to enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. The children experience a true touch from the Holy Spirit during this time. These intimate moments allow the children to flow in their gifts and exercise their liberty in Jesus Christ. Children can expect to be changed when they come to Kidz Town’s praise and worship. It’s a high energy, truly motivating, self encouraging, God expressing, habit forming interaction for children who are young and old.

The Pit Stop (4th & 5th Grades)

Servant hood: It is our goal in The Pit Stop to aid your child to become the
leader they are called to be. Jesus said in order to be an effective leader you
must first be a humble servant (Mathew 20:26). That is why The Pit Stop offers
a variety of areas for servant hood, including Helps Ministry and our Enter In praise choir.

Application: The Bible says, if we hear the word and never do what it says we are deceiving ourselves (James 1:2). Our curriculum is designed to train your child how to apply the word throughout the week. We teach in three fundamental areas: families, friendships and reaching the lost, giving your child the equipment needed to change their world.

Balance: Learning how to live in a natural world by applying spiritual principles can be challenging for kids. The Pit Stop teaches how a pre-teen can be “in the world but not of it.” Our services are designed to allow the Holy Spirit to minister to the needs of your child followed by a teaching that is practical and exciting.
